BJ-02M Kit - BJ-02 Upgrade Kit with Jack Assembly, Powered Condenser Mic and 2 Channel Preamp

The BJ-02M Upgrade Kit provides our simple metal jack assembly, M microphone, cable, and 2 channel Mini Pre 2 belt clip preamp. This kit can be used to upgrade any existing BJ-02 pickup or anyone else's banjo pickup.

     What the addition of the condenser microphone does is add some 'air' or more openness to the over all sound of the existing pickup. It really works.

Technical 

      The BJ-02M Kit is designed to work on any banjo with virtually any existing banjo pickup. Five string, tenor, six string, open backs; all sound excellent with this system. Installation of the upgrade kit takes about fifteen or twenty minutes and everything that you need to complete the installation is included with the system.

     The condenser mic attaches to the inside of the rim directly under the tailpiece area with supplied 3M VHB tape. The simple jack assembly supplied with the kit clamps simply and easily to the tensioning hooks of the banjo in the same manner as a banjo's arm rest. 

Note: A soldering iron, a bit of solder and some basic hand tools are required. Installation is straight forward and should take less than 20 minutes.

Amplification

 This pickup system's capability is enhanced by the Micro Pre 2 which gives the pickup the ability to be plugged directly into any amplifier, P.A. or mixer.
