Warranty and Returns

Satisfaction Guarantee
     We guarantee that our pickups and preamps will perform as described. If you are not 100% satisfied and you have purchased your pickup directly from us, you may return your purchase to us for a no hassle money back refund. You have 30 days from the time you receive your pickup to install and use our product. If during that time period our product does not meet with your satisfaction, you may request a refund by following the Return Policy as set out below.

Product Warranty
     We warrant to the original purchaser that our pickups and endpin jack preamps are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 (two) years from date of purchase. We warrant to the original purchaser that our outboard preamps (Mini Pre, Mini Pre 2) are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 (one) year from date of purchase.
     Should a product fail to perform properly within the specified warranty period, please contact the seller that you purchased the product through for warranty repair / replacement / return authorization / shipping instructions. Schatten Design will not accept any product return without a proper return authorization number.

Return Policy - For Products Ordered Directly From Schatten Design
If you have a product that requires warranty service / repair / or replacement -or-
If you have ordered an incorrect product -or-
If you have a ordered a product that you would like to return for a refund -

You must follow these guidelines:
1) Contact us by phone or by email for an RA (Return Authorization) number and shipping instructions.
2) No returns will be accepted without an authorization.
3) Returns shipped incorrectly or labelled incorrectly will incur restocking and/or handling charges.
4) Products that have been subject to modification, abuse or misuse will not qualify for a refund.
5) The only thing that we can't refund is the cost of shipping.
6) All Refunds and exchanges must be requested within 30 days of your receiving your order.

For customers outside of North America only:
    
As with all normal business transactions, once something has been ordered and shipped it is the customer's responsibility to accept delivery and to pay any duties or taxes due upon receipt. Once shipping has occurred a customer may not decline delivery. Failure to accept delivery will mean that your pickup(s) will not clear customs in your country and will be surrendered to customs for disposal or destruction. There is obviously no refund possible under these types of circumstances.
