BM-1 - Mandolin, Mandola & Bouzouki Pickup *Element Only*

This pickup system allows you to add a pickup to your instrument without having to change the bridge or modify anything . The BM-1 was designed with a lengthened sensor element to enable it work properly on the non-adjustable bridges of Bouzouki's, Mandola's, and Mandolins. 

Please Note: This is for the pickup element ONLY, you will need to supply your own jack.

Technical

 The BM-1 sensor is small and light in weight, 1/4" high by 2 1/4" in length and will not affect the acoustic sound of the instrument. It will work on virtually all of these instrument's bridges and only requires a small flat area on the bridge face for the sensor to adhere to.

Installation is simple as the pickup adheres to the bridge with the supplied 3M VHB tape.

Amplification

     This pickup has been designed to operate properly and sound terrific without the use of a preamp when plugged into any 'normal' amp (guitar amp, bass amp, etc.) As with any pickup, the sound can be further enhanced with an outboard preamp. If you require the ability to plug directly into a P.A. or mixer then you may wish to add our Mini Pre belt clipable preamp.
