RJAplus Jack

Ultralight 1/4" Jack for Violin Viola Mandolin

The entire jack assembly weights 1 ounce.

     The new ultralight RJAplus jack is a small, low profile clamp on jack assembly with a volume control built into the jack body. The output takes a standard 1/4" plug so that you can use a normal guitar cord. For use with a mandolin, longer adjuster barrels are available.

Technical

   We designed a completely new composite body for the RJAplus. These jacks are lighter and less intrusive in appearance than just about any other clamp on jack on the market. Using the same hardware found on a violin chinrest, the cork padded jack assembly attaches to the instrument securely without damage.

Fitting Thickness: Minimum 1 1/4" (31mm), Maximum 2 1/8" (54mm). 

RJAplus jacks will fit all 4/4 and 3/4 violins and all violas. For mandolins the optional longer barrels expand the maximum fitting thickness to 2 3/8" (61mm).

Two small square solder pads are provided on the underside of the jack assembly for attaching the pickup.
